MISSION STATEMENT:The Shiva Gana Organisation aims to promote the resurgence of Sanatan Dharma especially amongst youths and to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of our values and traditions, through a greater advancement of cultural, spiritual, social activities and engaging in Seva.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:1. To work with ALL Hindus in the promotion of Sanatan Dharma.
2. To be proactive in promoting Hindu welfare and coordinating social programs for youth, women, the elderly and less privileged persons.
3. To encourage Hindu unity and participation in Mandir activities and other spiritual, cultural and social efforts.
4. To create a greater awareness of the National Hindu landscape through the publication of a monthly magazine.
SHIVA GANA CURRENT ACTIVITIES:1. Provision of educational and career opportunities for 12 youth (full- time), 19 youths on an as needed basis
2. Monthly food assistance for three families
3. Seva Projects (e.g. repainting of Mandirs)
4. Home work centres
5. Weekly Yuva Milan*
6. Co-ordination and promotion of Night of Raagas (Night of Raagas is a quarterly event, that showcases experienced and budding artists in the field of Indian Classical Music).
7. Celebration of all Hindu festivals and observances
8. Youth camps
9. Revival of Krishna Leela and promotion of Ramleela.

*YUVA MILAN- Gathering of Youth
Yuva Milan is established in communities and form a basis on which the organisation accesses and responds to the religious, cultural and social needs of the youth. Activities develop the youth physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and socially.Yuva Milan Programs include-
Home Work Centres, Music, Dance and Vocal Classes, Ramleela and Krishna leela, Tassa and Marching Bands, Martial Arts/sports, Lectures, Hikes and Camps. Other programs include Hindu youth conferences.
